Yacht Charter Dubai: Compare Yachts by Size, Price & Sunset Route

作者:Zaki International · 09 Oct
Yachts Dubai website homepage showing a private yacht cruising off Dubai Marina

Yachts Dubai runs private yacht charters from Dubai Marina, with a fleet that ranges from a 36 ft cruiser for ten guests up to a 120 ft vessel that takes a hundred. Every price on the site is for the whole yacht per hour, with a licensed captain, crew and fuel already included. If you are trying to work out which boat fits your group and budget, and how far you can get in two, three or four hours, this guide walks through it.

Start with the fleet: size, guests and hourly rate

The quickest way to narrow your choice is to match your head count to a hull. The fleet table on the site lists six yachts, each with a two-hour minimum:

YachtMax guestsPrice per hour2-hour minimum
36 Ft Luxury Oryx10AED 499AED 998
44 Ft Luxury Majesty12AED 599AED 1,198
48 Ft Gulf Craft12AED 599AED 1,198
56 Ft Majesty17AED 650AED 1,300
82 Ft Paradise with Jacuzzi30AED 1,149AED 2,298
120 Ft Lafet100AED 2,000AED 4,000

Listed rates exclude 5% VAT, which is added at checkout. Because you pay per boat rather than per person, a full 56 ft Majesty with 17 friends often works out cheaper per head than a half-empty smaller yacht.

Small groups and couples

The 36 ft Oryx is the entry point at AED 499 an hour. It suits couples, small families and friends who want the Marina skyline without paying for space they will not use.

Mid-size parties

The 44 ft Majesty and 48 ft Gulf Craft both take 12 guests at the same rate, so the choice comes down to layout and availability on your date. Step up to the 56 ft Majesty if you need room for 17.

Big celebrations

The 82 ft Paradise is the one people ask about for its on-deck jacuzzi, which the yacht page calls the centrepiece. It has several deck levels, an interior lounge and wide sunbathing areas for up to 30 guests. For corporate groups or large family events, the 120 ft Lafet carries up to 100 people.

Which route can you cover in your booked hours?

Trip length decides what you see. The captain confirms the exact route on the day, and the order changes if your yacht leaves from Dubai Harbour instead of the Marina, but the site sets out three typical options:

  • 2 hours, "the classic": Dubai Marina canal, the JBR skyline and Ain Dubai. Good for a first trip, a short celebration or a sunset run.
  • 3 hours, "Palm views": adds the outer Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis, so you get the full curve of the Palm on the way back.
  • 4 hours or more, "the full coast": Ain Dubai, Atlantis and a stretch along to Burj Al Arab, with time to relax on board. The site notes that the Burj Al Arab views usually need about four hours.

Bluewaters Island sits right next to Ain Dubai on all of these routes, and on longer trips there can be a photo and swim stop near Burj Al Arab.

Planning a sunset cruise

Sunset is the most requested slot on the site, which means it is the first to fill. Golden-hour light on the Marina towers and the Palm is why people book it, and an evening start then lets you see the skyline and Ain Dubai lit up on the way back in. A few practical points:

  • Book early for weekends and the cooler months, roughly October to April, which the site calls the busiest season.
  • In summer, early morning and evening trips are the most comfortable; mornings also bring calmer water.
  • Bookings can start any time between 6:00 and 23:30 Dubai time, so check your start time if you are booking from abroad.

What the hourly rate covers

Every charter includes the captain and crew, fuel, soft drinks, water and ice, and a sound system. On the larger yachts the inclusions also list plates, cups and cutlery. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Paid extras, requested when you book, include catering or a chef, a DJ, birthday decoration and cake, wedding or proposal setups, hotel pickup and water sports such as jet ski, jet car, flyboard and parasailing, which start from AED 299.

The same fleet also covers themed trips: birthday yachts from AED 600 an hour with decoration and cake, party yachts from AED 600, wedding and proposal charters from AED 1,000, and four-hour fishing trips for up to 10 guests from AED 375 an hour.

How to book, step by step

  1. Pick the yacht that fits your guest count from the fleet pages.
  2. Choose a date and a start time in Dubai time (GMT+4).
  3. Select your hours (minimum two) and number of guests.
  4. Add extras such as a cake, fruit platter or decorations.
  5. Pay online by Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Tabby or Mamo Pay, or book on WhatsApp; Tamara is available through a WhatsApp payment link.
  6. Receive the exact boarding point, Dubai Marina or Dubai Harbour, after confirmation, and arrive a little early because your time starts at the booked hour.

Every guest must bring an original passport or Emirates ID, which the Coast Guard requires before boarding.

Why people choose Yachts Dubai

Transparent hourly prices for each named yacht make comparison easy, and Tabby lets you split any charter into four payments, for example AED 250 x 4 on the Oryx. The team takes bookings on WhatsApp and phone, and the site is available in English, Arabic, Russian, German and French. The cancellation policy is also published in full, including how weather or Coast Guard cancellations are handled: you are offered another date or a comparable yacht, and a full refund if none suits you.

FAQ

What is the minimum booking for a yacht charter in Dubai?

Can we bring our own food on board?

Yes. Guests may bring their own food and drinks, and catering can also be arranged as an extra.

What happens if we cancel?

Deposits are not refunded on customer cancellations, and cancellations within 72 hours, or of Friday, Saturday and public-holiday bookings, receive no refund. Requests to reschedule more than 72 hours ahead are usually accommodated, subject to availability.
