Altre informazioni su questo progetto
iPerfume is a UAE fragrance brand with a physical shop and its own production line. Its range covers perfumes inspired by well-known scents, bukhoor and oud, mukhalat blends, body lotions and all-over hair and body sprays, most of them priced between AED 31.50 and AED 105. The brand needed an online store that felt as curated as walking into the shop.
The challenge
The catalogue is large and full of similar-looking bottles, so shoppers needed clear paths by product type and by gender. Most customers read Arabic, yet many product names are in English, and orders come from across the Gulf, not only the Emirates. The store also had to carry over the trust the shop has earned in person.
What we built
- Arabic RTL storefront: a clean right-to-left layout with a rotating hero banner promoting inspired perfumes and an order-now call to action.
- Multi-currency checkout: a currency switcher for UAE Dirham, Saudi Riyal, Kuwaiti Dinar, Omani Rial and US Dollar, so Gulf shoppers see familiar prices.
- Scented Selections grid: category tiles for perfumes, bukhoor, gift collections, mukhalat, lotion, all-over spray, and separate For Men, For Women and Unisex collections.
- New arrivals and best sellers: product sliders with prices in AED, showing which fragrance each bottle is inspired by.
- Shoppable videos: short in-store clips featuring the team, each with an Add To Cart button for the product shown.
- Reviews and support: a Google reviews carousel (4.7 from 705 reviews), a newsletter signup and separate numbers for online orders, wholesale and manufacturing, and complaints.
Result
iPerfume now sells online in its own visual language: teal branding, real shop footage and photos of the shelves and production bench. Customers can browse by mood, gender or product type, pay in their own currency and check the store's Google reviews before ordering. Shipping, returns, privacy and terms pages are linked from the footer.
Version 2: headless rebuild on Next.js and Laravel
The store is now being rebuilt as a custom headless platform: a Next.js storefront on top of a Laravel back end, replacing the hosted platform. The new version adds category counts across 500+ fragrances, social proof on each product (how many times it was bought), shopping by occasion (daily, evening, gift sets) and by season, a factory-contact channel, cash on delivery and free shipping from five pieces, with shipping to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan.
