Altre informazioni su questo progetto
AI Arabic publishes news and analysis about artificial intelligence in Arabic. Its readers across the Arab world follow it for daily AI news, new tool releases, reports, research summaries, course listings, Q&A explainers, videos, books and long-form opinion articles.
The challenge
Most AI coverage is written in English, and Arabic readers have few dedicated sources. The publication needed a full right-to-left news site that could hold a large volume of articles across many content types, surface the newest stories first, and still be easy to browse on a phone. The editorial team also needed simple publishing tools inside WordPress.
What we built
- Magazine-style homepage: a large featured-story slider next to a highlighted card and a tabbed sidebar for Reports, Releases and Editor's Picks, all fully right-to-left.
- Category navigation: a blue main menu with News, AI Tools, Releases, Reports, Studies and Research, Courses, Q&A, Video, Books and Articles, with drop-down sub-categories such as free and paid courses and Arabic books.
- Colour-coded labels: each post card carries category tags in distinct colours so readers can tell a news item from a report or a course at a glance.
- Latest articles carousel: an image-led strip of opinion pieces showing publish date and a view counter on every card.
- Earlier blog layout: the first version of the site used a clean list layout with search, recent posts, archive, featured posts, a branded mascot block and a newsletter sign-up box.
- Social links and footer: social icons in the header and footer and a simple copyright bar.
Result
AI Arabic has grown from a simple blog into a structured news portal with ten content sections and a homepage that updates itself as editors publish. The right-to-left layout, Arabic typography and clear categories give readers an organised way to follow AI coverage in their own language.
