Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 on a Yacht: Passes, Schedule & After-Party

Yas Marina Circuit is one of the few Formula 1 venues where the track runs right past a marina, which is why watching the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from a yacht is so popular. F1 Yacht Abu Dhabi is an independent hospitality provider selling trackside yacht passes, yacht after-party tickets and whole private yachts for the 2026 race weekend. The company states clearly that it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Formula 1, the FIA or Yas Marina Circuit.

Race weekend 2026 at a glance

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix runs from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December 2026 at Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island. Each day has its own role on track, and the yacht schedule is the same on all three:

DayOn trackTrackside yachtAfter-party
Fri 4 DecPractice1 PM to 1 AM8 PM to 1 AM
Sat 5 DecQualifying1 PM to 1 AM8 PM to 1 AM
Sun 6 DecRace day1 PM to 1 AM8 PM to 1 AM

Friday is the gentler introduction, with practice sessions and a lower pass price. Saturday's qualifying sets the Sunday grid. Sunday is the Grand Prix itself, followed by celebrations on the water, and it carries the highest price.

Trackside yacht passes: PREMIUM vs VIP

A trackside yacht pass gives you a place on a luxury yacht docked beside the circuit from 1 PM to 1 AM on the day you pick, or on all three days. Prices are per person:

PassFri 4 DecSat 5 DecSun 6 Dec3-day
PREMIUMAED 3,500AED 3,500AED 5,500AED 10,700
VIPAED 5,500AED 5,500AED 8,500AED 15,700

The PREMIUM pass covers trackside access with food and hospitality. VIP adds reserved trackside seating, gourmet food and drinks, and dedicated service. If you only want one day and the race matters most, Sunday is the obvious choice. If you are a fan who wants practice and qualifying too, the three-day package costs less than buying the days separately: AED 10,700 instead of AED 12,500 on PREMIUM, and AED 15,700 instead of AED 19,500 on VIP.

The yacht after-party

Not everyone wants twelve hours on deck. The after-party pass is for the evening only, 8 PM to 1 AM, with a live DJ, and you can choose any night of the weekend. PREMIUM costs AED 1,200 per person and VIP costs AED 2,300, which adds reserved seating and table service. The price is the same on all three nights, so you could pair a Sunday race-day pass on land with an after-party on the water, or simply join the celebrations once the cars stop.

Booking a whole yacht for your group

Companies hosting clients and large private groups can take an entire yacht for the three-day weekend. The site lists seven vessels from shipyards including Ferretti, Riva, Pershing and Galeon, all described as docked trackside at Yas Marina Circuit:

  • Crystal Corner 78: up to 30 guests, from AED 399,000
  • Apex 67: up to 80 guests, from AED 330,000
  • Grid Star 82: up to 80 guests, from AED 450,000
  • Fast Lane 5X: up to 80 guests, from AED 200,000
  • Chequered Flag 96: up to 95 guests, from AED 200,000
  • Golden Lap: up to 95 guests, from AED 1,000,000
  • Pole Position 110: up to 150 guests, from AED 650,000

The gallery shows the kind of spaces involved, from the flybridge lounge on Pole Position 110 to the bow sun pads and sea-view saloon on Grid Star 82 and the dining room inside Golden Lap. Private yacht availability is confirmed over WhatsApp.

Who it suits

  • Corporate hosts who want clients in one private space for the whole weekend.
  • Couples and friends after a single memorable day, typically Sunday on a PREMIUM or VIP pass.
  • Visitors flying in for the race who would rather spend the evenings on the water than in a hotel bar, using the after-party pass.
  • Serious fans who want all three sessions, through the three-day package.

Planning tips for race weekend

A trackside pass runs for twelve hours, from 1 PM to 1 AM, so treat it as a full day out rather than a quick visit: the afternoon covers the on-track action and the evening rolls on into the night on the same yacht. If you have only one free evening, compare the price of a Sunday trackside pass with an after-party pass and decide whether the race itself or the celebration matters more to you. Groups that cannot agree on a single day can split, with some buying Friday or Saturday passes and others joining for the race, then meet at the after-party, which runs on every night. For private yachts, start the WhatsApp conversation early, since there are only seven vessels and each is booked for the whole weekend. The site is also available in Arabic and Russian for guests who prefer to read the details in their own language.

How to book

  1. Decide between a trackside pass, an after-party pass or a private yacht.
  2. For passes, open the PREMIUM or VIP option, choose Friday, Saturday, Sunday or the three-day package, and pay by card at checkout. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, mamo and paymob are listed.
  3. For a private yacht, message the team on WhatsApp at +971 56 671 9900 with your group size, and they will reply with availability.
  4. Read the provider's terms before you pay, and contact the team if you need specifics on access or what is included.
